Public Notice: Site Review 2024

Maryland Sea Grant will be reviewed on October 22-24, 2024 by a team convened by the National Sea Grant College Program. The review will be conducted at Maryland Sea Grant’s offices in College Park, Maryland, and will consider all aspects of Maryland Sea Grant’s programs, including management and organization, performance, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative activities.

  • Growing Oysters to Clean the Bay

    Bay-area residents interested in restoring water quality in Chesapeake Bay can help through oyster gardening, growing oysters off a dock.   • Poplar Island Marsh Study

    Poplar Island in the mid-Chesapeake Bay is now being developed as a holding site for sediment dredged from the Bay's shipping channels.
