Coastal and estuarine physical oceanography: fine sediment transport dynamics, turbulence, geophysical boundary layers, surface and internal waves, experimental design and execution, data analysis, oceanographic instrumentation. Special interest in interdisciplinary studies.

Olivia Saliger won a student presentation awards for talk at the 2019 Coastal Estuarine Research Federation Meeting. Her REU mentor was Judy O'Neil.
