We invite members of the Mid-Atlantic living shorelines community to attend this one-day workshop. Through a series of talks and interactive sessions, we will exchange information across the science, management, and practitioner communities to better inform practice and placement of living shorelines. This workshop will not serve as a “how-to” guide for installation of living shorelines but creates a space to identify shared needs among the communities that build, regulate, and study living shorelines.
This workshop is hosted by Dr. Cindy Palinkas, Dr. Lorie Staver, and Erika Koontz of University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science's (UMCES) Horn Point Laboratory and Taryn Sudol of Maryland Sea Grant.
